Francisco Velasquez, 24, of Russellville, Ala. passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Huntsville Hospital.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Akins Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. with Pastors Edgar Do Herrera and Epifanio Gavin officiating. Interment will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Izosima Alvarez Canseco Velasquez; father and mother, Horlando J. Velasquez and Maria Juan Velasquez; children, Elizabeth, Yaretsi and Ruth Velasquez; brother, Antonio Velasquez; sisters, Angelina, Micaela, Lorena  and Irene Velasquez.
