Alma Bailey

June 9, 2010

Alma Lucille Bailey, 91, of Haleyville, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010.  She was retired from Haleyville Textile and was a member of Waldrop Baptist Church.

Funeral services were  held Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home with Tim Haney officiating. Burial was in the Winston Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers for the service included Mike Bailey, Jeff Halcomb, Zach  Howell, Chris Elkins, Steve Harris, Scott Howell, and Bobby Shirley.

She is survived by children, Jimmy Bailey and Judy Halcomb; sisters, Dean Hood, U.V. Garrison, and Jackie Lantz; brothers, J.C. McDonald and Orvil McDonald; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; and host of nieces and nephews; friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Rena McDonald; husband, Pate Bailey; sisters, Mae Baker, Marie Monday, Adell  Bates, and Thelma Tucker.
