John Davis

John Davis, 77, of Bear Creek, died Sunday, May 20, 2010 at Lakeland Community Hospital. He was a methodist, served in the United States  Air Force during the Korean War, and was retired from the mobile home industry.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Rev. Belon Friday officiating. Burial will be in the Winston Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Davis is survived by daughters, Cynthia Locarno and Suzanne Dodd; sisters, Opal Shotts and Janice Brown; brothers, Thurston Davis and Jackson Davis; grandchildren, Jeff, Kevin, and Phillip Dodd, and Amanda and Christopher Locarno.

He was preceded in death by parents, John Floyd and Myrtie Davis; wife, Jacqueline Davis; and son, Roger Davis.
