Juvenile arrested on theft charges

A Russellville teen was arrested Monday and charged with the recent break-in and robbery at a city business.

Police investigators said the teen was charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree theft of property.

Authorities believe the teen broke into Creative Touch, which is located on Jackson Avenue in downtown Russellville, sometime around 2:30 a.m. on April 30.

Investigators said that 20 pairs of shoes and some jewelry were taken from the business.

Several items were found in the teen’s possession, police said.

Investigators are currently looking for a couple other suspects that they believe were involved in the break-in.
