RHS sends two to Alabama-Mississippi Classic

Russellville is sending a pair of players to the 20th Annual Alabama-Mississippi Classic. Terence Smith and Erin Reynolds were chosen as some of Alabama's top seniors and will compete against the top seniors from Mississippi March 17 at the Pelham Civic Complex. The girls game begins at 5 p.m. and the boys will play at 7 p.m.
Smith led the Golden Tigers to the sub-regional round of the playoffs where Russellville lost to eventual state champion Lee.
Reynolds led Russellville to the Northwest Regional Tournament finals were the Lady Golden Tigers lost to eventual state champion Fairfield.
