By Staff
The list of Russellville football players to sign with colleges got a little bit longer when quarterback Joey Howe signed with Murray State.
Howe, who helped lead the Golden Tigers to back-to-back state championship games, finished his career at Russellville with 4,458 passing yards and 44 touchdown passes.
He transferred from Marion County to Russellville before his junior season and completed 324-of-612 pass attempts.
Murray State finished the 2009 season with an overall record of 3-8 and a record of 2-6 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Murray State has won eight OVC championships and has made five appearances in the playoffs.
