Man arrested on rape, incest charges

A Red Bay man is facing rape and incest charges after being accused of forcibly having sex with and adult relative.
Officials said Shelby Dean Lindley, 64, of 9th Street West in Red Bay has been charged with first-degree rape and incest.
An adult relative filed the complaint after being forced to have sex with Lindley, investigators said.
Franklin County Courthouse officials said the act occurred on Dec. 2 and Lindley was taken into custody on Dec. 30 after an extensive investigation by the Red Bay Police Department.
Lindley has been released on a $50,000 bond.
