UNA looking to stay perfect

By Staff
The University of North Alabama will try and keep its record perfect tonight when the Lions travel to Arkansas to play Harding.
The Lions, ranked third in Division II, currently hold a 20-game win streak against schools in Arkansas.
They are also trying to remain one of the few unbeaten teams in the Gulf South Conference. Ouachita Baptist is the only other conference school without a loss while Delta State is undefeated in conference play.
UNA has had quite a bit of success on offense this year as the Lions are averaging 42.5 points per game. The defense has also played well, giving up an average of 14 points per game.
The Lions special teams players have even had some impressive performances this season. As a matter of fact, a player from UNA has earned GSC weekly honors each week of the season.
Charles McClain was the Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 1, Mike Johnson was the Defensive Player of the Week in Week 2, Harrison Beck was the Offensive Player of the Week in Week 3 and Kenny Spencer was the Special Teams Player of the Week last week.
