UNA set for fan day Sunday

FLORENCE – Members and coaches of three sports programs at the University of North Alabama will be available to meet fans Sunday as part of UNA Fan Day.
First year coach Terry Bowden's football squad, Stephanie Radecki's volleyball team and Graham Winkworth's soccer team will be available.
The event starts at 3:30 p.m. and will take place at Braly Stadium in Florence.
UNA's cheerleaders as well as Leo III and Una – the university's live lion mascots – will also be at the stadium for the event.
The volleyball and soccer teams begin their season Aug. 28. The volleyball team will play in the Nebraska-Omaha Volleyball Showcase and the soccer team will host Montevallo.
The football team opens its season on the road Aug. 29 at Southern Arkansas.
