Best of luck to all Little League teams

The Russellville Little League Minor All-Stars extended their season this past weekend by sweeping Tuscaloosa-Barnes in the District 6 Championship Series.
With the victories Russellville advances to the state tournament in Mobile. The tournament will be July 18-19.
The Russellville 11-12 All-Stars are favorites to win Little League Majors District 6 Championship Series.
The success of the local Little League teams has become a summer ritual of sorts in recent years.
This year's teams are looking to build on past successes and have a great deal to be proud of.
We wish all the teams luck as they move forward and it is our hope that Franklin County gets behind these players and their families.
