Groce named president-elect of school board

The Russellville city school board unanimously voted Thursday to appoint Jerry Groce as president-elect of the board.
Groce, who serves as director of the Franklin County Department of Human Resources, has served as board president in the past. He was also a four-term city councilman before being appointed to the school board in 2005.
The board also voted to keep lunch and breakfast prices the same as the previous school year. Breakfast at all schools will be $1.
The lunch prices at West Elementary and Russellville Elementary will remain at $1.50 while the price at the high school and middle school remains at $1.75.
