Firefighters' hard work will help us all

Russellville firefighters have done more than their usual job duties for the past several months.
With the new fire station number one almost complete, firefighters with the Russellville Fire Department are working on the outside of the building while the painters and construction crew finish up on the inside.
Fire Chief Joe Mansell said firefighters are working on the landscaping outside to make the building even more attractive.
The department has done much of the work on the building to save costs throughout its construction.
Mansell said the new station will be home to four firefighters during shift hours and its new location will help lower homeowners' ISO rating.
We should thanks these firefighters for their work on the streets and away from them.
