Aledith Chastain Fowler

Aledith Chastain Fowler, 90, of Phil Campbell, Ala. passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services were held May 26, 2009 at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Shawn Wallace officiating. Interment was in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jeff Fowler, Shane James, Danny Brown, Hoyt Dillard, Tildon Drake, and TJ Drake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis W. Fowler; son, Jimmy R. Fowler; parents, Thomas and Mary Chastain; sister, Exie Lee Fowler.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Jean Stewart and husband, Carl, of Phil Campbell, Sandra Davis, of Russellville; grandchildren, Mike Davis and wife, Theresa, of Tuscaloosa, Jeff Fowler and wife, Heather, of Phil Campbell, Michelle Campbell and husband, Mike, of Dallas, Texas, Robin Drake and husband, Tildon, of Russellville, Patrice Scott and husband, Eddie, of Phil Campbell; 11 great- grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special great niece, Tanya Dennis.
She was a member of Phil Campbell Church of Christ.
The family extends special thanks to Midsouth Home Health, Helen Keller Hospice, Dr. Kenneth Rose, and care giver, Betsy Welch.
Rayburn Everett Parker

Rayburn Everett Parker, 76, of Russellville, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 at ECM Hospital.
Funeral services were held May 26, 2009 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. James McCullar officiating. Interment was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Linnie Parker; daughter, Marilyn Parker; brother, Robert Parker; and sister, Wanda Jensen.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Parker; daughter, Janice Wilson and husband, Hudean; son, Albert Parker and wife, Liz; grandsons, Adam Wilson and wife, Brandy and Josh Parker and wife, Amanda; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles Parker and wife, Barbara, of Texas, Marilyn Cox, of Texas, Eddie Parker and wife Helen, of Texas, Raymond Parker and wife, Annette, of La., Julia Lemmons, of Texas, Gary Parker and wife, Nancy, of Texas, Clyde Parker and wife, Sandy, of Texas, Karen Hommel and husband, John, of Texas, Mae Foster and husband, Harold, of Ala. and Fayrene Malone, of Ala.

Eugene McGuire, 80, of Russellville, passed away, Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Russellville Hospital.
Funeral services were held May 26, 2009 at Tharptown Baptist Church with Bro. Dale Galloway and Bro. Orbie Pearce officiating. Interment was in Tharptown Cemetery. Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Effie McGuire; wife, Helen McGuire; sister, Susie Vandiver; and brother, Edward McGuire.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda McAnally and husband, Randy; son, Jimmy McGuire and wife, Shelia; grandchildren, Amanda Galloway and husband, Dale, Matthew Motes and Tisha Motes; great-grandchild, Nicholas Galloway; brother, Ollie McGuire; sisters, Louise Harrison and Corene Clark; and a host of nieces and nephews.
