    Owen A. Bolton

    Owen A. Bolton, 84, of Lincoln, Neb. died Monday, May 18, 2009. He was born October 8, 1924 in Russellville, Ala. to Percy H. and Esther R. Taylor Bolton. He was a Ret. Yard Master, Burlington Northern Railroad. WWII U. S. Navy Veteran. Member: Northwest Church of Christ;
    American Forward Association; American Legion Post #3; United Transportation Union. Avid gardener and fisherman.
    Family members include wife, Doris L. Bolton; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas A. and Diane Bolton, of Platte City, Mo., John R. and Mary Bolton, of Lincoln, Neb.; daughters, Rebecca J. Bolton and special friend, Martin Banyard, of Lincoln, Neb., and Mary Ann Meyers, Dupo, Ill; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Ollie Mitchell, Russellville, AL;
    brother-in-law, Fred Mitchell, Tuscumbia, Ala.; nieces, nephews and many friends.
    He was preceded in death by parents, brothers and sister-in-law, Herschel Bolton and Onice and Elsie Bolton, Emma and George Ridley, Catherine and Lawrence Marti, Helen Mitchell.
    Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009 at Spry Funeral Home in Russellville, Ala.
    Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens with full Military Honors.
    Williard M. Saint
    May 17, 2009
    Willard M. Saint, 76, of Russellville, Ala. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at his residence.
    He was a Baptist minister for 48 years and member of Alva Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He served as pastorate in churches in Colbert, Lauderdale, Lawrence and Franklin Counties. He met the most wonderful people during his ministry.
    Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 20, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bro. Dennis Steward and Bro. Gene Franks. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens in Tuscumbia. Survivors include his loving wife, Reba Hooper Saint, son, Wendell Saint and wife, Sheila; grandson, Dale Saint; sister, Betty Saint Mitchell; several nieces and nephews
    Pallbearers will be nephews.
    Honorary bearers are ordained ministers and deacons.
    He was preceded in death by parents, Rev. E. C. and Pearl Saint; brothers, Shorty, Hollis and James Hoyt Saint.
    Norma Jeanette Harbin
    May 15, 2009
    Norma Jeanette Harbin, 63, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Friday, May 15, 2009 at Russellville Health Care. She was a native of Franklin County and member of the Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Russellville High School Class of 1964.
    Funeral services were held May 18, 2009, with Jerome Sherrill officiating. Burial followed in Macedonia Cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville assisted the family.
    She is survived by her sons, Darrell Harbin, of Orlando, Fla. and Kerry Harbin, of Birmingham, Ala.; sister, Rosiland Jo Spencer, of Russellville, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by parents, Benton and Ilene Ross; sister, Carole Fowler Jones; nephew, Rickey Fowler; several aunts and uncles.
    The family wishes to express appreciation to the employees of Russellville Health Care.
    Steven Ray Morrow
    May 17, 2009
    Steven Ray Morrow, 49, of Russellville, Ala. passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Helen Keller Hospital.
    He was a native of Franklin County and was employed by S &D Trucking.
    Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, in Russellville with Chad Beck officiating. Burial followed in Hyde Cemetery in Littleville.
    Survivors include children, Steven Belton Morrow, of Iron City, Tenn., Dillion Ray Morrow, of Littleville; parents, Hollis Ray and Mattie Mae Morrow; sisters, Kathy Murphy, of Leighton, Charlotte Long, of Town Creek, Doug Morrow, of Littleville; grandchildren, Grant and Gabe; several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by sister, Tammy Sanford.
    Beatrice Flossie Nix
    May 18, 2009
    Beatrice Flossie Nix, 85, of Hackleburg, Ala. passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009 at Helen Keller Hospital.
    Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Dempsey Cemetery.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Nix; parents, Rowe "Alvy" and Ivie Hughes; three brothers and six sisters.
    She is survived by her children, Leonard and Patricia Nix, Lorraine and Larry Presley, Rayburn Nix, Christine and Jerry Inmon, Marie and Gerald James and Timothy Nix; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-two great-granchildren.

    Frank Joseph Medina, Sr., 54, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009.
    Funeral service will be May 20, 2009 at Spry Memorial Chapel.
    Virginia I. Gravitt
    May 14, 2009
    Virginia I. Gravitt, 73, of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville. She was a member of Orange Baptist Church in Phil Campbell.
    Funeral services were held May 18, 2009 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Burial was in Orange Baptist Church Cemetery.
    She is survived by husband, Terry L. Gravitt; children, Tonya Burtzos, of Channehon, Ill., Terry L. Gravitt, Jr., of Oswego, Ill.; Tim Gravitt, of Romeoville, Ill., Tom Gravitt, of Henderson, Nev. and Scott Gravitt, of Haleyville; brother, James Stevens, Sr., of Warrenville, Ill.; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
    She is preceded in death by parents, Percy and Marge Stevens.
    Edith E. Lancaster

    Edith E. Lancaster, 79, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Red Bay
    Hospital. She was born June 20, 1929 in Itawamba County, Miss. to William Harold and Ethel Stanphill Orrick. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and worked at Winfield Manufacturing for over 30 years.
    Funeral services were held May 17, 2009 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Jim Rutledge and Bro. Dean Warren officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
    She is survived by two sisters, Irene Letson, of Golden, Miss. and Olene Barksdale, of Red Bay; brothers, William Orrick and wife, Chris, Douglas Orrick and wife, Cindy, and Donnie Orrick and wife, Dorothy, all of Golden, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow B. Lancaster and her parents.
    Pallbearers were Paul Bryant, Tony Barksdale, Ronnie Orrick, Jody Orrick, Shane Clements and Keith Letson.
