Frances Bonner

Carrie Frances Bonner, 80, of Phil Campbell, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009.
She was a member of Phil Campbell First Baptist Church and Joy Sunday School Class, and she was hairdresser for 50 years and an active member of the Phil Campbell community. She was strong in her faith in God and family. She loved everyone and all loved her. Her home was always a warm and welcome haven for those who crossed her threshold. Her family and friends will miss her dearly till we meet again.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 at First Baptist Church in Phil Campbell with Tim Haney and Scott Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by husband, Loyce Bonner; parents, Archie and Pallie Bishop Vinson; brothers, Byron (Mary) Vinson, Bargus (Irene) Vinson, Bluitt (Irene) Vinson, Bruce Vinson, Bonnie Vinson; sisters, Frannie (Jr.) Woods, Flossie (Victor) Campbell.
She is survived by sons, John (Pat) Bonner, Prattville, Jimmy (Kathy) Bonner, Muscle Shoals; daughter, Betty (Johnny) Burnett, Hartselle; grandchildren, Wes (Annette) Bonner, Kim (Hugh) Holland, Warren (Christy) Bonner, Billy Bonner, Jessica Bonner, Ben Bonner, Christine (Todd) Bailey, Dillon, Austin and Bradly Hollis; nieces, Ann Jorden and Sandy McCarly; 12, great-grandchildren; sister, Faylene Nelson; sisters-in law, Mildred Saint and Elsie Vinson; several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of loving friends.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Champion, Dennis Vinson, Ronald Vinson, Ben Nelson, Daniel and Colton Graham.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville assisted the family.
Samuel T. Odom

Samuel Tyrus Odom I, 46, of Spruce Pine, Ala., passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009 due to a motorcycle accident.
He lived all his life in Franklin County and was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Spruce Pine. He loved spending time with his family and grandson, riding motorcycles, traveling, following Bama football and going to the lake. He was employed by Tiffin Motor Homes.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb.14 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Bro. Roger Martin and Bro. Brian Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Spruce Pine Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Mae Michelle Odom, Spruce Pine; children, Samuel Tyrus Odom, II and wife, Tiffany, Phil Campbell, Chasity Nicole Odom, Corey Heath Odom; father, L. C. Odom and wife, Cora all of Spruce Pine; grandson, Slade Odom, Phil Campbell; sisters, Freida McKay, Jane Wingo, both of Spruce Pine, Kathy Odom Hawkins, Vidor, Texas; brother, James Neal Odom, Russellville; Denay Hagood, just like a daughter-in-law, many great and wonderful friends, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Trent Fugate, Donnie Fugate, Troy Mather, Bob Shook, Tommy Rogers and John Carter.
He was preceded in death by mother, Lucile Odom; sister, Margaret Leigh Odom Shook;
brothers, Leon Charles Odom, Jr. and Billy Levern Odom.
