PC B-Team falls to CHHS 44-37

The Phil Campbell B-Team boys basketball team got off to a strong start against Colbert Heights Tuesday, but could not hold on in its 44-37 loss to the Wildcats.
The Bobcats jumped out to a 9-4 lead after the first quarter, but Colbert Heights began to chip away and cut the Phil Campbell lead to two points at halftime.
The Wildcats shooting caught fire in the third quarter, outscoring the Bobcats 13-8 to take the lead for good.
Phil Campbell rallied late, but Colbert Heights hit key free throws down the stretch to secure the win.
Zack Watkins led the Bobcats with eight points while Corey Alexander and Cameron Harris scored six points each.
Also scoring for Phil Campbell were Ben Stancil (5), Trevor Hodge (4), Landon Hutcheson (3), D.J. Hall (2) and Rile Hughes (2).
