Illa H. Hill

Illa Hargett Hill, 93, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, at Russellville Health Care.
She was a native of Franklin County, Ala., and a member of Russellville Church of Christ. She was retired from First Federal Savings and Loan.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 3 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Eddie Caskey officiating. Burial followed in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Ray Hargett and wife Billie of Phil Campbell and Barry Hargett and wife, Sheila of Russellville; grandchildren, Molly Young, Toby Hargett, Natalie Caracciolo, Lynn Burcham and Jennifer Utley; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Nash Hargett and Bob Hill.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Morrow, Jean Hester and the staffs at Russellville Health Care and Russellville Hospital.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville assisted the family.

Cecil William Bates, 60, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008.
Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 2 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville with Billy Basher officiating.
He is survived by his mother, Beatrice Bates; sisters, Linda Morgan, Turene Smith, Millie Cavender; and brother, Steve Bates.
He was preceded in death by his father, Columbus Bates; brothers, Larry and James Bates; and sister, Betty Goodman.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
