Toy drives benefit our children

Christmas is only two weeks away, and holiday toy drives are in full swing.
Several different organizations are collecting toys in Russellville while others are collecting in Red Bay and Phil Campbell.
Christmas is the time of giving. It's far more important to give than to receive especially during this time of year.
The economy has made the holiday season a little tougher this Christmas season, but that's why it's so important for everyone who can to participate in local toy drives.
It doesn't have to be an extravagant gift. A simple doll, train or used bicycle would be great to a child in need this Christmas.
It doesn't matter which organization you help. Just jump and help a child this Christmas. You'll find there is no better gift than knowing you are helping a local child have a very Merry Christmas.
