Emilia Contreras, 63, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at her residence.
The visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville.
She will lie in state from 11 a.m. until noon at Bethania Church, with the service following at noon. Officiating will be Pastor Jose Sanchez. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Jorge Rezado, and family, Maria Izabel Munoz, Henry Rezado and Mario Munoz.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
Betty Jo Hitt Kilpatrick

Betty Jo Hitt Kilpatrick, 74, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at Russellville Hospital. She was a life long resident of Franklin County and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
A graveside service was Nov. 4, at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Mount Star with Bro. Joe Lenox officiating.
She is survived by her daughters, Gail Rollins and husband David of Hodges and Kathy Hall and husband Duane of Russellville; grandchildren, Julia Howard and husband Waylon of Tuscaloosa, Josh Rollins of Jasper, Michael Hall and wife Lori of Russellville, Bryan Hall of Russellville and Jessica and Sarah Rollins of Hodges; brothers, Buck Hitt and wife Wanda and Franklin "Buddy" Hitt and wife Shirley, both of Birmingham; sisters, Marjorie Taylor and Helen Mims, both of Birmingham; sister-in-law, Katheryn Flanagan of Russellville; and 17 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Jess and Annie Cordillia Hitt; sons, Michael and Wally Kilpatrick; brother, Harlin Hitt; sister, Connie McCluskey and nephew, Gary Don McCluskey; brothers-in-law, Norman Mims and Ray Taylor; and nephew Tommy Mims.
Pallbearers were Michael Hall, Bryan Hall, Frankie Hitt and Randy Hitt. Honorary pallbearers were Josh Rollins and Noah Hitt.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Stroke Foundation of American Diabetes Association.

Donna Marie Evans

Donna Marie Evans, 60, of Vina, Ala., passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at Helen Keller Hospital. She was born May 22, 1948, in Ypsilanti, Mich., to Paul Johnson and Genevieve Wadke Willoughby. She was a housewife and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Nov. 3 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Marshall Emerson and Bro. James Nichols officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Cecil Evans of Vina; children, Robert Evans and Donna of Vina and Deanna Perkins and husband Russ of Tecumseh, Mich.; stepson, Ron Evans of Texas; grandchildren, Robert Evans II, Amber Evans, Michael Evans, Allen Pollock, Quinn Pollock, Daniel Young and Mariah Perkins; and sister, Frances Wilford of Ypsilanti, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Andy Willoughby; and sisters, Shirley Ann Willoughby and Patricia Hampton.
Pallbearers were Daniel Young, Robert Evans, Chase Pharr, Quinn Pollock, Leslie Willoughby, Allen Pollock and Michael Evans.
Deaton Funeral Home assisted the family.
Dustin Lewis James

Dustin Lewis James, 22, of Golden, Miss., passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, in Itawamba County, Miss. He was born Sept. 23, 1986 in Tupelo, Miss., to William Lewis and Patricia Anne Patterson James.
Funeral services were Nov. 1 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Barry Lofton officiating. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, William and Anne James of Golden, Miss.; brother, Blake James of Golden, Miss.; sister, Jessica Sides and husband Brent of Red Bay; nephews, Connor Sides and Preston Sides, both of Red Bay; grandmother, Nadine James of Red Bay; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Blake James, Williams James, Donnie Sides, Brent Sides, Jose Makepeace and Patrick McCollum.
Deaton Funeral Home assisted the family.
