Tharptown outscored Hatton 18-0 in the fourth quarter Thursday, but it was not enough as the Hornets held on to win 54-30.

After falling behind 41-0, Manny Ricardo put the Wildcats on the scoreboard with a 21-yard reception from Brandon Cothrum with 12 seconds remaining in the first half.
Hatton added a pair of quick scores in the third quarter before Tharptown found the end zone again on 3-yard run by Nathan Gray.
Cothrum threw his second touchdown of the night on a 29-yard pass to William Austin with 9:41 remaining in the game.
Tharptown recovered the onside kick and drove 52 yards for another touchdown. Mackinley Flannagin caught a 20-yard pass from Cothrum on the drive's final play.
Hatton drove back down the field, but Carlos Valdez intercepted a pass in the back of the end zone to end the threat.
Cothrum had his last touchdown pass of the night when he connected with Manny Ricardo for a 64-yard score with 43 seconds left in the game.
