Tincy Hood Lawrence

Tincy Hood Lawrence, 93, of Haleyville passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 at Russellville Hospital. She was a member of South Haleyville Baptist Church and was retired from Haleyville Textile Mill.
Funeral services were Oct. 17 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Ronnie Marbutt and Marce Pounders officiating. Burial was in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Wayne Lawrence of Haleyville and Barbara Prater of Hartselle; grandchildren, Charles Grant Jr., Larry Grant, Phillip Prater, Lynn Prater, Kim Lawrence and Michael Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Alan Grant, Jennifer Grant, Joshua Grant, Olivia Lawrence, Logan Lawrence, Nick Prater, Brad Prater and Jeff Prater; great-great-grandson, Wesley Grant; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Frances Hood; husband, Royce Lawrence; daughter, Reba Lawrence Grant; sisters, Ettar Thompson, Lula Taylor and Mae Mitchell; brothers, James Hood, Preston Hood and Earnest Hood.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
