Julian C. Jenkins

Julian C. Jenkins, 91, died Sunday, October 5, 2008 at his Red Bay residence surrounded by his family.
He was born Sept. 18, 1917 in Trenton, N.C., to Thomas Christopher and Carrite Morton Jenkins. He was a minister for 73 years and was co-founder of New Covenant Church, which was based in Indianapolis, Ind. He was a member of the Assembly of Church of Christ House of Prayer in Dennis, Miss. He had his own weekly religious television program on Unity Broadcasting Network in Booneville, Miss.
Funeral services were Oct. 9 at Assembly of Christ House of Prayer with Bro. Jackie Hastings officiating. Burial was in Assembly of Christ House of Prayer Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca J. Marshburn Jenkins of Red Bay; daughters, Carolyn Smither (Harlan) of St. Joseph, Mo., Priscilla Jenkins of Los Angeles, Ca., Madeena Jenkins and Rebecca C. Beal (Larry), both of Red Bay; grandchildren, Wayne Smither (Lori), Sheryln Jurgensen and Keith Smither (Teresa); and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters.
Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay assisted the family.
Christina M. Barry

Christina M. Barry, 80, of Vina died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 at Red Bay Hospital. She was born June 21, 1928 in Idaho. She was housewife and Presbyterian.
Visitation was Oct. 8 at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Barry of Vina; sons, John Melvin Barry (Linda) of Vina and Jack M. Barry (Michelle) Sparks of Nevada; grandchildren, Jennifer Mays, Christina M. Wallcott, Jeremy Michael Barry and Robin Michelle Barry; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie McBride; brother, Jack Moore; and sister, Jessie Glennen.
Deaton Funeral Home assisted the family.
Hannah K. Rogers

Hannah Kaitlynn Rogers, infant, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
She is survived by her parents, Robert Isaac and Trista Ham Rogers III of Russellville; grandparents, Robert Isaac and Jama Davis Rogers Jr. and Walter Dennis and Cynthia Bolton Ham; great-grandparents, Anne Campbell Rogers, Waynell Davis, Betty Jean Rogers Bolton and Leta Ivy Ham.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Robert Isaac Rogers Sr., Dudley James Davis, Mary Howard "Kitty" Davis, Charles Huey Bolton and Jessie B. Ham.
A private graveside service was held Oct. 11 at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville.

Mary "Frankie" Haynes
October 8, 2008
Mary "Frankie" Haynes, 59, of Haleyville passed away Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008 at Lakeland Community Hospital. She was born March 31, 1949 in Giles County, Tenn. She attended Corinth Heights Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 11 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Holmes officiating. Burial was in Rock Creek Cemetery in Double Springs.
She is survived by her husband, Quinton Haynes; son, Patrick Haynes and wife Melinda; daughter, Casey Haynes and fianc
