Russellville pounds Jags 43-14

HUNTSVILLE – The Golden Tigers moved one step closer to clinching a playoff berth Friday with a 43-14 victory against J.O. Johnson.
The win clinches the Golden Eagles (6-1, 4-1) at least a share of the fourth and final playoff spot in Class 5A, Region 8.
If they beat East Limestone next week, they will clinch a playoff spot.
Details of the game were not reported, so a complete game recap will be in the Wednesday edition of The Franklin County Times.
