Ethel Marie Shelton Lindsey Shelton, 75, of Russellville passed away Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 at Burns Nursing Home.
The visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10 and the funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jim Poss officiating. Burial will follow at Knights at Pythias Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Lindsey; daughters, Janie Marie Lindsey, Jewel Lee Lindsey; parents, Arthur and Ruth Reed; sisters, betty jean Bryant and Cora Riley; brothers, Jack Dempsey Reed, Raymond Reed and Red Reed.
She is survived by her daughters, Jody (Jerry) Prince of Russellville and Wanda (Garry) Orrick of Russellville; grandchildren, Sheila (Scott) Simpson, Carolyn Orrick, Jerry Lee Prince II, Theresa (Tracy) Burns and Kimberly (Andy) Cheatham; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lee O'Neal Harbin

Lee O'Neal Harbin, 77, of Haleyville passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008. He was a member of Philadelphia Deliverance Tabernacle in Lynn.
Funeral services were Oct. 8 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Bro. John Verciglio and Johnny Autry officiating. Burial was in Mt. Ebron Cemetery in Double Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Janette Harbin; children, Lee Harbin and Pam Kelso; brothers, Jimmy Harbin and Gary Robertson; sisters, Billie Ruth Barret, Barbara Jo Robertson, Johnnie Parrish and Veranda Burrell; two step-brothers, three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Neal Harbin, and parents, Burton and Ada Lynn Harbin.

Christeen Inez Comeens

Christeeen Inez Commeens, 72, passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 2008.
She was born Feb. 1, 1936 in Winston County, Alabama. She was an active member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Haleyville.
Funeral services were held Oct. 8 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Michael Jones and Dennis Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Macedonia Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Glenn Comeens; son, Ellis Ray Comeens; brother, Junior Lucas; sisters, Eunice Burtler, Betty Downs, Anice Steele and Eileen Miller; grandson, Brian Comeens; and great-granddaughter, Emma Christeen Comeens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Lillie Mae Lucas; brother, JD Lucas; and sister, Jesse Mae Hogan.

Mary Louise Tidmore

Mary Louise Tidmore, 92, of Russellville passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008 at Russellville Hospital.
She was a native of Morgan County but lived in this area for the past 30 years. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Russellville.
A graveside funeral service was Oct. 9 at Mt. Hope Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held prior to the service at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville.
She is survived by her sons, Fredrick Tidmore, of Omaha, Neb., and Wayne (Linda) Tidmore of Mt. Hope; grandchildren, Jennifer Tidmore and Allen Tidmore of Mt. Hope, Thomas (Brenda) Tidmore of Killen, Angela Pick of Nebraska and Stephanie Tidmore of Texas; and great-grandchildren, Nikki (Anthony) Cox and Phillip Cox, both of Killen.
Palllbearers were Thomas Tidmore, Allen Tidmore, Larry Reed, Corey Reed, Steve Nichols and Anthony Cox.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
