Annie Lee Barrett

Annie Lee White Barrett, 84, of Fulton, Miss., died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born Sept. 8, 1924 in Alabama to Roy and Susie Kingsley Chandler. She was a factory worker employed at Blue Bell.
Funeral services were Oct. 1 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Jerry Ginn officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Golden, Miss.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Calip H. Barrett, of Fulton, Miss.; children, Margaret Timbs Pitts (David) of Belmont, Miss., and Donald White (Deborah) of Red Bay; daughter-in-law, Shirley White of Red Bay; brother, Bryant Chandler of Owensburg, Ky.; sisters, Mary Rose of Red Bay and Nellie Wooten of Dennis, Miss.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Noland White; daughter, Barbara Sue White; son, Billy Ray White; great-grandson, Anthony Dale White; and brothers, Carlos Chandler and Erlice Chandler.
Pallbearers were Michael White, Mark White, Danny Timbs and David Pitts.

Grady Allen Robinson

Grady Allen Robinson, 83, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at Red Bay Hospital. He was born May 30, 1925 in Franklin County to Seab and Margaret Davidson Robinson. He was a machinist and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran.
Funeral services were Oct. 3 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Coye Marbutt and Bro. Silas Oliver officiating. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Earlene Robinson of Russellville; children, Barbara Betner, Dennis Robinson, Charlotte Smith, Sheila Chipps and Joel Robinson, all of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, Bennie Lee Robinson of Red Bay; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and stepsons, Anthony Bentley of Red Bay and Miles Bentley of Mobile.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Opal Robinson; brothers, Bryce Robinson, Edward Robinson, Coleman Robinson, Burion Robinson and Hardy Robinson; and sister, Ethel Robinson Collum.
Pallbearers were Mark Daniel, Brian Bentley, Chris Bentley, Jeff Eaton, Robert Mitchell Jr. and Talmage Lewey. Honorary pallbearers were Carl Lewey, Craig Robinson and Justin Madden.

Daryl Wayne Boyd, 26, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 in Red Bay. He was born June 29, 1982 in Iuka, Miss., to T.H. Jr. and Elaine Credille Boyd. He was formerly an employee of Tiffin Motor Homes. He was a member of Fairview Holy Church of Christ and a children's Sunday school teacher.
Funeral services were Oct. 3 at Fairview Holy Church of Christ in Belmont, Miss., with Bro. Kevin Rogers officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Kandice Boyd of Red Bay; daughter, Alison Boyd of Red Bay; son, Dawson Boyd of Red Bay; parents, T.H. Jr. and Elaine Boyd of Golden, Miss.; brother, T.H. Boyd III (Shannon) of Red Bay; nieces, Carley Madison Boyd of Golden, Miss., and Haley Boyd of Red Bay; nephews, Nathan Bradley Boyd of Golden, Miss., and Brody Boyd of Red Bay; mother-in-law, Kathy Wagnon of Cullman; father-in-law, Jeff Wagnon of Cullman; and sister-in-law, Tressa Wagnon of Cullman.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Nicholas Bradley Boyd.
Pallbearers were Anthony Boyd, Chris Brazil, Bradley Long, Jeremy Edgemon, Jordan Crowder, George Hawkins, Cade Rogers and Brody Rogers.

Anthony Wayne Hill, 38, of Bear Creek and formerly Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008. He was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Oct. 3 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Bro. Jeff Whitten officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Hackleburg.
He is survived by his mother, Jimmie Nell Hill; children, Blake, Christian and Jamie Hill; brothers, Michael (Michele) Hill and Terry (Laura) Hill; sisters, Tabatha (David) Engle and Angela (Ray) Hosler; and girlfriend, Christy Kelley; one great-nephew; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Hill, and niece, Jennifer Hill.

Jimmie Lou Hamilton

Jimmie Lou Hamilton, 77, of Russellville passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Oct. 5 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville with Bro. Johnny Hood officiating. Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Grissom, Heath Daily, Glenn Taylor, Ray Williams, Andrew Campbell and Tommy Burcham.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mosie Hall Willis; father, Louie Willis; and sisters, Mildred Taylor and Velma Barnes.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, W.B. (Billy) Hamilton; sister, Polly (Homer) Grissom of Russellville; brother-in-law, Joe (Wanda) Hamilton of Russellville; and a host of nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Lloyd B. Steele, 78, of Phil Campbell died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield.
He was a native of Phil Campbell and a member of Phil Campbell United Methodist Church. He was a retired inspector at J.L. Steel, Inc. in Warren, Mich.
Funeral services were Oct. 6 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with Jerome Sherrill officiating. Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Randall and Kathy Steele of Royal Oak, Mich.; daughters, Cynthia and Dan Sullivan of Elkhart, Ind. and Patti and Mark Templeton of New Port Richey, Fla.; one brother; three sisters; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Steele.

Cranston Ray Carr

Cranston Ray Carr, 83, of Haleyville, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 at County Cottage Assisted Living in Russellville. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart.
Funeral services were Oct. 4 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Arvy Dupuy and Cegal Reams officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Arvy) Dupuy and Cindy (Cegal) Reams, and grandchildren, Jenna and Anna Dupuy and Maggie and Zach Reams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ada Cleo Carr; sister, Cathleen Carr; and brothers, Elton and Jimmy Carr.

Barbara Ann Glasgow, 67, of Phil Campbell passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 at her residence.
She was a native of Chicago but lived the past four months in Phil Campbell. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Russellville and was retired from Lawrence Place Assisted Living.
Funeral services were Oct. 7 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Jim Hedderman, Bro. Ricky Mann and friend John Sheffield officiating. Burial was in Hines Cemetery in Bear Creek.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen West and husband Kenny of Phil Campbell; sister, Ellen Damato and husband Tim of Lakevilla, Ill.; brother, Edward Herrick of LaCross, Wis.; grandson, Eric West and wife Jamie; niece, Denise Bergman and husband Neil; great-niece, Lily Bergman; nephew, Daniel Napier and wife, Spring; and Dominick Damato.

Mary Frances Williams

Mary Frances Williams, 70, of Russellville passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008 at Russellville Hospital.
She lived her entire life in Franklin County and attended Church on the Street in Russellville. She was a member of the Russellville Housing Authority.
Funeral services were Oct. 7 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Shawn Rutherford officiating. Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Greg Williams, Donna Burns and Ann Williams, all of Russellville; sisters, Marie Hargett and Jayne Wells, both of Russellville; four grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Lucille Bendall; and brothers, Charles and Sonny Bendall.
The family offers special thanks to Dr. Kelly and the nurses in the ICU at Russellville Hospital.
