Meetings could help those in need

The state is working to help those in need.
A series of meetings will be held on Thursday in Red Bay for people who recently lost their jobs at Tiffin Motor Homes.
The state and the county development authority are looking to provide information that displaced workers might need in looking for new jobs and benefits.
There is no promise of new jobs coming from these meetings but there will be many valuable tools to help find the information needed in looking for insurance, unemployment benefits and even college tuition.
It is our hope that people who have recently lost their jobs will attend one of these sessions
Times are tough around the country and Franklin County is feeling many of the same difficulties that others are, but help is out there.
