New board members selected

The Franklin County Commission made several board appointments this week.
The terms of Jimmy Berry and Curtis Swinney on the E911 board were not renewed. Mike Mayfield was appointed to fill Swinney's spot while Berry's was left vacant for the time being.
James Abston, Charles James and Laura Pruitt were appointed to the DHR board and Cecil Langcuster was re-appointed to the Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association.
Charles James, Jerry Groce and Kyle Defoor will serve on the board for the Northwest Alabama Council of Local Government.
