Fall baseball registration
July 26
The Russellville Parks and Recreation Department will hold registration for fall baseball Saturday, July 26 and Saturday, Aug. 16. The age divisions are 6-8 and 9-10, and the season starts Sept. 9. For more information, call 332-8770.
PCHS alumni golf tournament
July 26
The Phil Campbell Booster Club will hold its annual PCHS Alumni Golf Tournament Saturday, July 26 at the Haleyville Country Club. The format is a three-man scramble with morning and afternoon tee times available and a shotgun start. Bring your own team, and cost is $60 per player. Sponsorship holes are available for $100. Red Bay QB Club golf tournament
August 8
The Red Bay Quarterback Club will hold a 3-man scramble benefit golf tournament Friday, Aug. 8 at the Redmont Country Club. Cost is $300 per team, and each participant will receive a shirt and lunch. The putting contest will be held at noon, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. For more information, contact Red Bay football coach Dale Jeffreys at 356-9266 or Rodney Cash at (877) 454-8827, ext. 212.
Colbert County golf tournament
August 8
Colbert County High School will host a benefit golf tournament Friday, Aug. 8 at Twin Pines Country Club. Registration begins at 11 a.m., with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Cost is $120 per team and the deadline to register is Wedneday, Aug. 6. For more information, call Darrin Berry at (256) 740-9452.
Youth soccer registration
August 9
The Russellville Parks and Recreation Department will hold registration for youth soccer until Saturday, Aug. 9. Late registration will run from Aug. 11-16. The ages are 6-18, and the age control is Aug. 1, 2007. The fee is $35 per child or $65 for two children. League play begins Sept. 9. For more information, call 332-8770.
Indoor soccer registration
August 9
The Russellville Parks and Recreation Department will hold registration for youth indoor soccer until Saturday, Aug. 9. Late registration will run from Aug. 11-16. The ages are 3-5, and the age control is Aug. 1, 2007. The fee is $20 per child or $35 for two children. League play begins Sept. 8. For more information, call 332-8770.
