Shop Franklin County first good idea

The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce is in the middle of a major membership drive and promotion to get more people shopping in the county.
It is a notion that we should all take to heart.
The county is beginning to bring in more and better retailers all the timeso there are more opportunities to shop in the county.
We do also still have many fin locally owned stores that can provide many of the items we all look for.
The chamber is promoting "Shop Franklin County First" throughout the county and has mailed out over 300 information packets to businesses, which include a newly produced chamber guide and a decal promoting "Shop Franklin County First."
Many times we talk about things that could make Franklin County better yet we fail to act on them.
This is one promotion that certainly will help now and in the future.
