District tournament underway tonight

The Russellville 9-10 All-Stars team will descend on Sheffield tonight to begin defending its District 6 title.
The Golden Tigers will play in a double-elimination tournament that includes Phil Campbell, Tuscaloosa-Central, Tuscaloosa-Barnes and host Sheffield, which has a first-round bye.
Phil Campbell will take on Tuscaloosa-Central at 5:30 p.m., with the winner playing Sheffield at 5:30 p.m. and the loser playing at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Russellville will play Tuscaloosa-Barnes today at 7:30 p.m., with the winner playing Monday at 5:30 p.m. and the loser playing Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
