Bobby Ray Mims, 54, of Florence, died Friday, June 6, 2008.
Funeral services were held on June 9, 2008, at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Galloway officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
Pallbearers were Patrick Dyar, Michael Carney, Anthony Michaels, Lester Bassham, Dustin Bassham and Jonathon Entrekin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Mims and Ludie Bishop Mims; sister, Dean Garrison; brothers, Fred Mims, Johnny Mims and James Mims.
He is survived by his children, Ida Louise Dyar and husband, Patrick, of Florence, Bobby Mims Jr. and wife, Karen, of Phil Campbell; sisters, Barbara Weeks and husband, Dillon, of Spruce Pine, Brenda Mims, of Blue Springs, Miss.; brothers, Jimmy Mims and wife, Diane, of Russellville, Joe Mims and wife, Gail, of Mount Hope, Charles Mims and wife, Lisa, of Tuscumbia; three grandchildren, Angelia Marie Mims, Mason Ray Mims and Brice Louann Dyar; a host of nieces and nephews.
Ruby Hester

Ruby Hester, 86, of Russellville, died Sunday, June 8, 2008.
Funeral services were held on June 10, 2008, at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Billingham officiating. Burial was in Belgreen Methodist Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Graton Hester, Jr., Joe Hester, Jim Hester, Randy Sparks, Chase Sparks, Gerald Ray Hester, Roy Britton and Greg Sparks. Norris Sparks was an honorary pallbearer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Cleveland Hester and Flossie Britton Hester and sister, Ruth Hester.
She is survived by her brother, Cleveland Leon Hester.
She was a lifelong member of Belgreen United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Florence State Teachers College and had a master's degree from Peabody College in Nashville, Tenn. She taught for 32 years in the Russellville city schools system.
Norman P. Hutcheson

Norman Pearson Hutcheson, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 20008.
Funeral services were held on June 9, 2008, at Mt. View Baptist Church. Burial was in Mt. View Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Williams Hutcheson; special daughter-in-law, Carolyn Swinney Robbins; grandchildren, Sherry (Timmy) Trapp, of Russellville, Debbie (Tim) Heath, of Russellville, Dana (Scott) Thomas, of Muscle Shoals, Gary (Stephanie) Crane, of Mobile, Tracey (Stacey) Crane, of Birmingham; great-grandchildren, Lauren Vandiver, Meagan and Hunter Thomas, Chasity and Ty Trapp, Andrew Heath, Brandy Cook, Jacob and Hannah Heath, Heather, Matthew, Josh and Chase Crane; son, Larry Robison, of Huntsville; brothers, Wallace Hutcheson, of Decatur, Odis Hutcheson, of Phil Campbell; sisters, Gladys Hutcheson, Julia Vinson, Voncile Davis, Marge Pounders, Janice Holcomb, all of Phil Campbell, Ima Jean Wood, of Lake City, Fla., Audrey Watson, of Hobart, Ind.; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Scott Thomas, Hunter Thomas, Tim Trapp, Ty Trapp, Tim Heath and Andrew Heath. Honorary pallbearers were members of his Sunday school class at Mountain View Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, T.J. (Jeff) and Minnie Mae Hutcheson; brothers, Lowell Hutcheson, Owen Hutcheson, Ray Hutcheson; daughter, Judy Robison Crane.
Beatrice Boshell

Beatrice Boshell, 73, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. O'Dell Kimbrough and Bro. George Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Ethel Nelson and sister, Myrtle Wright.
She is survived by her sons, Rick (Marsha) Jackson, of Russellville, Jimmy (Tena) Jackson, of Red Bay, Gregg (Penny) Pace, of Trinity; grandchildren, Amanda and Tim Shirley, of Sheffield, Chris and Lindsay Jackson, of Ft. Louis, Wash., and Carrie Jackson, of Russellville; great-grandchildren, Madalyn Shirley and Aubrey Shirley, of Sheffield; sister, Minnie King, of Russellville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ashton Lee Cook, infant of Jody Cook and Stephanie Burfield passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008. Graveside services were held on June 10, 2008, at Ferguson Cemetery in Hatton.
William Peugh

William "Chester" Peugh, 91, of Burlington, Iowa, died at 1:50 a.m. Monday June 9, 2008, at Danville Care Center.
Born November 10, 1916, in Salem, Ind., he was the son of William and Lois Peugh.
Mr. Peugh worked as a heavy equipment operator for American Smelting and Refining Company. He retired in 1974 and spent his winters in Russellville, Ala., and his summers in Nevis, Minn., pursuing his favorite hobby of fishing.
During the course of his lifetime Mr. Peugh was active in Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, Job's Daughters and Kiwanis Club. In Alabama he started the Belgreen Beautification Club, was a photographer for the Belgreen Bulldogs and sponsored an annual fish fry for youth in the area. He also enjoyed gardening and playing cards.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II on Midway Island. He was a graduate of Oakwood Township High in Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.
Survivors include two sisters, June Braun of Texas, and Ruth Woeller of Florida; one son, William Peugh and his wife Carol of Carman, Ill.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
