Saturday Update: Man facing assault charges

HODGES – A Hodges man now faces felony charges after assaulting his wife and daughter during a domestic altercation at their residence.
Franklin County Sheriff Larry Plott said Shane Scott, 33, of 408 Robert E. Lee Drive in Hodges, was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with domestic violence-third and willful abuse of a child.
"The daughter was assaulted when she tried to break up an altercation between Scott and his wife," Plott said.
Scott remains in custody at the Franklin County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
