Glenice Chandler
March 26, 2008
Glenice Rae Chandler, age 74, of Russellville, died Wednesday, March 28, 2008.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel Friday, March 28, 2008. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Johnny Smith and Bro. Hendon officiating. Burial will be in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hill and Linnie Vandiver Hill; two sisters; and one brother.
Ms. Chandler is survived by hr son William Allen Chandler, Jr. and wife, Pauline; brother, Pete Hill; sister, Ann Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
Ruby Cummings
March 21, 2008
Ruby Gwen Cummings, aqe 62, of Whitehouse community, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at Fayette Medical Center. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Vance Hutton and Charles Balcom officiating.
Ms. Cummings is survived by husband, Edward Buddy Cummings; grandchildren, Ashley and Amber Barnett; sisters, Joann Davis (Thurston) and Linda Boyd (Max); son-in-law, Donna Garrard; 23 nieces and nephews; 21 great nieces and nephews; and uncle and aunts, Robert and Joy Seahorn and Myrtle Garrard.
Ms. Cumming is preceded in death by her daughter, Ruby Darlenia Barnett; parents, Albert and Ruby Garrard; and brother, Ted Garrard.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville assisted the family.
Tammy D. Neal
March 27, 2008
Tammy D. Neal, 50, of Russellville, passed away March 27 at Helen Keller Hospital.
She was a native of Ohio but had lived in Franklin County for the past 20 years.
Funeral services will be held March 31 at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with visitation prior to the service from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Belgreen Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Johnny Neal, of Ohio; mother, Ruby Musgrove, of Littleville; sisters, Pat Burnell, of Florence, Felicia Hester, of Russellville; brothers, Jerry and Anthony Griffie, both of Ohio and grandchildren, Abby and Eli Neal.
