Just one more time fellas

By Staff
Today, the Russellville Golden Tigers boy's basketball team will march into battle for the last time this season.
There's a lot at stake and a lot on the line. Our boys haven't lost a game this year and we know they're not looking to start anytime soon, especially today.
We would like to say that win, lose or draw, we're proud of Coach Michael Smith and his platoon of young men.
For the last few weeks they've been playing all over north and central Alabama. We think they've represented us well, both on the court and off.
Those jerseys they wear say Russellville across the front. For many people, they are the only things from Franklin County they will ever see. They will leave an impression on behalf of our entire county on those people. We think those young men, and the fans that have followed them, have shown a lot of class and dignity and we thank them for that.
We're proud of what you have accomplished thus far and look forward to seeing what's ahead. Good luck Golden Tigers.
