We want to take this opportunity to wish the Russellville boys' basketball team the best of luck today as they play in the Final Four.
The Golden Tigers have already had a magical season that most high school athletes can only dream of. Very few people will ever be able to look back on their prep careers with the kind of memories these guys will have.
A perfect regular season, five wins over arguably their biggest rival, two holiday tournament championships, an area championship, Northwest Alabama regional title and a berth in the Final Four. What a season.
We encourage each and every one of you to make your presence felt inside the coliseum today, and hopefully, again on Friday.
The atmosphere at Wallace-State on Saturday was tremendous and we hope people from all over the state are still talking about the Golden Tigers and their fans years from now.
