Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Football Classic

MOBILE – The 21st annual Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Classic will kick off 7 p.m. Monday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Thirty-seven Alabama high school football players were named to the roster, including Russellville senior tailback Miike Abernathy, who had 200 carries for 1,345 yards and 16 touchdowns in 11 games for the Golden Tigers this season.
The game will be available live at www.al.com and the TV replay will air 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 on CSS.

4th annual RBHS baseball clinic
December 20-22
RED BAY – The Red Bay baseball program is holding its fourth annual hitting clinic on Thursday, Dec. 20 and Friday December 21.
The clinic will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. There will also be a pitching clinic held Saturday, Dec. 22 with a minimum of 10 players.
The featured hitting instructor will be Northeast Mississippi assistant coach and former professional baseball player Richie Harrelson, who won a state championship at Fayette and played and coached at Ole Miss.
Participants (1st-12th grades) will be taught the fundamentals of hitting by Harrelson and the Red Bay coaching staff.
Registration is $40 per player. For more information, contact Red Bay coach Donny Hastings at 668-3557.
Millenium Run
December 31
The annual Millenium Run 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run will be held Monday, December 31.
