Pilati found guilty

After nearly two hours of deliberations, a Florence jury found former Franklin County District Attorney John Pilati guilty this morning on five counts of violating the civil rights of five men by subjecting them to unreasonable searches between 2001 and 2004.
The jury of seven men and five women returned their verdict after two hours of deliberations Wednesday and an additional two hours this morning.
Sentencing is set for January.
