Kelly captures three ITA medals

BIRMINGHAM – Christine Kelly of Russellville won three medals in the Fall International Tae Kwon Do Association National Championship held in Birmingham earlier this month.
Kelly, 22, competed in the third-degree women's division for ages 15-34 and captured the gold medal in traditional forms, silver in traditional free design forms and bronze in sparring
Her academy will soon receive the national champions list, which lists the top 10 people in each rank for the three major categories. The results are based on medals won at the Birmingham tournament and the competition earlier this year in Houston, where Kelly won gold in sparring, silver in free design and bronze in forms.
