Franklin County Times Players of the Week

Franklin County
Red Bay senior running back Josh Senkbeil led the 8-0 Tigers to their first Class 2A, Region 8 title since 2004 with a 42-14 win over No. 7 Addison last Friday.
Senkbeil, who has scored 16 touchdowns this season, rushed for 188 yards on 22 carries and had four scores in the first three quarters.
Russellville High School
Russellville senior tailback Mike Abernathy led the No. 9 Golden Tigers to a 35-0 win against the West Point Warriors last Friday.
Abernathy, who has 748 yards and nine touchdowns this season, totaled 176 yards on just 15 carries and scored TDs, including a an 8-yard run in the second quarter and a 1-yard score in the fourth.
