Twin Pines golf tournament
October 15
LITTLEVILLE – Mars Hill Bible School will hold a four-man golf scramble on Monday, October 15 at 1 p.m. at Twin Pines Country Club featuring special guest and Florida Marlins star Josh Willingham, who will sign autographs from noon until 1p.m. The 18-hole tournament is open to all golfers, and the $75 entry fee per player includes cart, all fees and snacks. There will be prizes for longest drive (two holes) and closest to the pin (five holes). For more information, contact Jay Mitchell at (256) 767-7872 or 767-1203, ext. 234.
Tharptown Booster Club fundraiser
October 20-31
The Tharptown Booster Club will sponsor a haunted barn and hay ride on Saturday, October 20 and 27, Sunday, October 28 and Wednesday October 31. Go to County Rd. 48 and turn right at Tharptown High School. Then turn right at the stop sign, and the haunted barn is the first house on the right. The haunted barn and the hay ride each costs $5 per person, and there will be food, drinks and Halloween toys for sale. For more information, contact Byron at 331-3908 and 394-0363.

Travel baseball team sign-ups
