BELGREEN-Nearly thirty of Belgreen's talented students performed during the school's fundraiser talent exhibition held Thursday night in the school auditorium.
Organizer Kayle Hardin said that the event has been going strong at Belgreen School for 22 years as an annual fundraiser for the school.
"This is not a competition, only an exhibition of talent," Hardin said. "There are no winners, only students, teachers and community members enjoying what our kids have to offer."
Twenty-five students took the stage to sing renditions of the favorite hits. Songs were from different musical genre including country, rock, alternative, and gospel.
"This is an annual fundraiser we do, and it goes to cover operating expenses here at the school," Hardin said.
According to the night's tabulations, the event brought in approximately $250 for the scho.
