Clyde Lee Mobley, Sr.

Clyde Lee Mobley, Sr., 68, of Haleyville, passed away Sept. 8, 2007 at Lakeland Community Hospital. He served in the United States Army and worked as a consultant for Digaway Construction.
Funeral services were held Sept. 11 with Jeff Whitten officiating. Burial followed in the Sardis No. 1 Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Elizabeth Otsby Mobley; children, Clyde Lee (Frankie) Mobley, Anna Harbison, John (Tammy) Mobley, Robert Edward (Kimberly) Mobley, Tracy Elizabeth Britnell, Marcia (John) Coffman, Erick (Latasha) Mobley and Tommy Lawrence; brothers, Mayo Mobley, Travis Mobley, Eirvin (Beth) Mobley and Gary Mobley; sisters, Sue Gardner, Jo (Chuck) Moody, Linda (Leo) Stubbe; grandchildren, Derrick, Brandon, Adam, Anthony, Andrew, Matt, Ricky, Kiesha, Kaitlyn, Robert, Kimber, Megan, Mackenzie, Britney and Layla; great-grandchild, EmmaLee.
He was preceded is death by his parents, Edward and Eunice Mobley and brother, Verlon Mobley.
Celia T. Segars

Celia T. Segars, 92, of Birmingham, died Sept. 9, 2007 at South Haven Nursing and Rehab of Hoover.
She was born April 2, 1915 in Golden, Miss. to Dolphus and Ida Rea Bostick.
She was a sales clerk for 30 years and a former resident of Red Bay. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Red Bay and a member of the First United Methodist Women's Association. The family extends a special thanks to Kindred Care Hospice and South Haven Nursing Home of Hoover,
Funeral services were held Sept. 13 with Bro. Gordon McKinney and Bro. John Hardin officiating.
Burial followed in Ridge Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughters, Peggy (Ronnie) Brewis, of Alabaster and Ruby Joyce Harris, of Mobile; son, Thomas Wade (Margaret) Segars, of Waco, Texas; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Joe B. Hargett

Joe B. Hargett, 88, of Russellville passed away Sept. 11, 2007. Visitation will be held today, Sept. 14, from noon to 2 p.m. The 2 p.m. funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Loyd Ray Griffus officiating. Burial will follow in the Belgreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Sean Hargett, Darron Hood, John Barber, Jimmy Hargett, Steve Taylor and Kenny Hargett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chess and Maggie Hargett; sisters, Lula Johnson, Rena Summer, Lois Davis, Lurlie Glasgow, Gladys Taylor, Bettie Pursely; brothers, Hearthel Hargett, Virgil Hargett and Coolidge Hargett.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Bonnie Taylor Hargett; sons, Dan J. (Wanda) Hargett, of Spartanburg, SC, Michael B. (Cindy) Hargett, of Russellville; grandchildren, Sean (Caroline) Hargett; Dr. Danna Hargett, Kimberly Hargett (Darron) Hood, Kellyn Hargett and Mialey Hargett; great-grandchildren, Olivia Grace Hood and Eli Heath Hood.
He was a member of Belgreen Baptist Church and a Mason with Masonic Lodge 428. He was a retired machinist from Ford Motor Company and a World War II veteran.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Belgreen Cemetery Fund.
