Ladies should flock to auxiliary

By Staff
Staff Editorial
The American Legion Post 64 will meet Sept. 13 with the hopes of adding a few good women by chartering a Ladies Auxiliary at the Russellville Post.
A strong auxiliary program can be the second vein to the life blood of one of the nation's most treasured organizations.
They play a large role in keeping the club active and play a vital role in many communities around the country.
To apply for a charter, the auxiliary needs at least 10 women to sign up at the meeting next Thursday at 6 p.m. at Jonathan's Steakhouse in Russellville.
The only requirement for membership is that each woman be married to or related to a veteran.
Ladies wanting more information about joining the Ladies Auxiliary are asked to call Chris Ozbirn at 332-8827.
In joining the Ladies auxiliary, you could be a large part of installing an organization that can do worlds of good in Franklin County for many years to come.
