RHS grad killed in car accident Wednesday

Barron, 18, died today at approximately 3:30 a.m. from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 77 in Russellville. According to county officials, Barron apparently lost control of her 2001 white Honda Accord, which was found in a nearby pasture after flipping over.
Barron was a 2007 Russellville graduate, and was awarded a scholarship to Northwest-Shoals Community College. She was employed by McDonald's and was a member of Cavalry Baptist Church in Russellville.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, and the funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Cavalry Baptist Church in Russellville.
