RHS mascot 'Champ' wins UCA camp awards

AUBURN – Russellville High School senior mascot Libby Bradford ("Champ") recently attended Universal Cheerleading Association's (UCA) Cheerleader and Mascot Camp at Auburn University, along with the award-winning RHS and Russellville Middle School cheerleading squads.
Bradford was coached by "Beau," the Birmingham Barons mascot.
"Champ" was awarded superior mascot, most improved mascot and first runner-up to the camp's top mascot, the Athens High School "Golden Eagle."
Bradford was sponsored by the RHS Student Boosters, which is headed by Peggy Fowler, Kim Burney and Patricia Cox.
