Mattie Rachel Harrison, 72, of Russellville, died May 16 at her residence.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Crooked Oak Baptist Church. Bro. Eddie Wix officiated. Pallbearers were Ken Lindsey, Tommy Lindsey, Chris Love, Mike Love, Dell Shook, Bob Shook, William Leeth, Eric Hines, John Kalmbach, and Adam Kalmbach. Honorary pallbearers were Patrick Curtain, Scott Harrison, David Harrison, Zack Lindsey, and David Harrison.
She lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Crooked Oak Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles Shook and Carroll Harrison; parents, Zachary and Naomi Lindsey; daughters, Twana Kilpatrick and Naomi Leeth; brothers, Gresham Dallas and Marvin Lindsey; sisters, Lola Nichols and Ruth Head; and step-son, Don Harrison.
Survivors include children, Kenneth Lindsey (T.J.) of Russellville, Susan Love (Dwight) of Tuscumbia, Dell Shook (Debbie) of Russellville, Robert Shook (Lynn) of Phil Campbell, Mattie Lee Kalmbach (John) of Russellville, Mary Jane Curtain (Dennis) of Cherokee, Amos Harrison (Vickie) of Sheffield, Robert Harrison, of Cherokee, and Wade Shook, of Florence; brother, Joseph Lindsey (Barbara) of Russellville; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

William Franklin "Frank" Ledbetter

William Franklin "Frank" Ledbetter, 72, of Vina, died May 16, 2007, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay. Bro. W.D. Humphries officiated. Pallbearers were Greg Hudson, Jeff Hudson, Richard Guerra, Leburn Keeton, Greg Miller, and Lesley Hudson. Raymond Miller was an honorary pallbearer. Burial followed at Old Burleson Cemetery.
He was born January 23,1935 in Franklin County to Thurston and Pearlie Thorn Ledbetter. He was a veterinarian for many years and was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Icie Ledbetter Stanphill and Sarah Ann Ledbetter.
Survivors include sisters, Nancy Hudson (Lesley) of Garden City, Alabama, Thelma Guerra, Darlene Ledbetter, and Jane Ledbetter, all of Vina; 3 nephews; 1 niece; and three great nieces.
Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay assisted the family.

N.G. Landers, 100, Phil Campbell, died May 18, 2007.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Dennis Steward, Bro. Ronald Joe Gasque, and Bro. Edward LouAllen will officiate. Pallbearers will be grandsons, and honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Shelnutt and Phillip Landers. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Mae Adams Landers; sons, J.C. Landers; parents, Joseph and Ella Lovern Landers; brothers, George, Ben, Jack, and Jim Landers; sisters, Mary Shelnutt, Nita Coan, and Ethel Oden; and 2 great grandchildren.
He is survived by daughters, Gladys Turner and Florence Turner; sons, Larry Landers (Carol), Lowell Landers (Linda); daughter-in-law, Corine Landers; sister-in-law, Ivee Landers; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildrens; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a founding member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Annie Belle "Bette" Hester, 93, of Russellville, died May 17, 2007 at Russellville Health Care.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jackie Richardson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jeff Hester, Bret Hester, Brandon Hester, Alan Rickard, Jacob Hester, Dennis Hargett, James Hooper, and Brent Overby. Burial will follow at Franklin Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Grady Hester, Ernest "Red" Hester, Carroll Hester, Lawrence Hester, Ruey "Pete" Hester; her sister, Amy R. Hester, and her niece, Betty Jo Hopper.
She is survived by her nieces Ann Hester Taylor and Sue Hester Taylor, and nephewsWilliam "Bill" Hester, Wayne Hester, GeraldHester, and Jack Hester.
She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Belgreen Church of Christ.

John Edward Davis, 81, of Russellville, died Friday at Russellville Hospital.
Visitation will be today from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held today at 4:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville. Johnny Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow at Franklin Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (Kitty) Davis. He was a native of Knoxville, Tennessee but had lived most of his life in Russellville. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.
Survivors include his step children, Ronnie Holland (Shirley) of Hodges, Steve Holland (Terri) of Russellville, and Cyndi Jeffreys (Don) of Ford City; grandchildren, Shannon, Dallas, and Roxanne Holland; and great-grandchildren, Briley and Cody Holland.
