Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a Vina couple Wednesday on drug charges, Sheriff Larry Plott said.
Plott said Randall Gene Bailey, 47, of 355 Main Street in Vina, was arrested along with Debra Bailey, 41, of the same address.
Both of them were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The drug possession charge is a Class C felony, punishable by 1-10 years in prison upon conviction.
Investigators said the Baileys came under suspicion during the course of a separate investigation.
The couple gave consent to search the residence, and a small quantity of marijuana and methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia, was found in the residence.
Both Baileys remained in the Franklin County Jail at press time awaiting a bond hearing.
