Ricky Dancy, owner of R.D. Direct Casket Sales Inc. at 1613 Sixth St. said he was in his office Tuesday when part of the roof caved in after storms dumped heavy rains on Meridian and Lauderdale County.
Dancy said "it was like a waterfall" inside his business. He has been forced to close his doors until repairs can be made. In addition to the roof, he said a casket, carpet, a couch, his office and a desk were damaged by water.
He said he does not know how long the business will be closed.
