Adopt a pet at Bonita Lakes Mall today

By Staff

About 15 puppies and maybe a few kittens will be at Bonita Lakes Mall today hoping someone will adopt them and give them a good home.
The Lauderdale County Humane Society will hold "Homeward Bound" pet adoptions today at Bonita Lakes Mall. Adoptable puppies and kittens will be on display from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in front of J.C. Penney.
Many of the animals have already been spayed or neutered.
Lee encourages anyone who may be interested in an animal to come to the mall and help the Humane Society. She warns, however, that no one should make a rushed decision about adopting a pet.
Lee stresses that unwanted pets are not to be dropped off at the mall.
For more information about Homeward Bound, visit www.bonitalakesmall.com or contact Stephanie Lee at 679-1200.
