* 25th anniversary *
Danny and Robin Shelton will celebrate their 25th anniversary on Oct. 13, 2004. The Sheltons have two children, D.J. (Danny Jr.), 23, and Danielle, 19. The couple reside in the Martin Community of Collinsville. Robin is employed at Trustmark Bank and Danny is employed with Johnson Dodge. They are graduates of Meridian High School. Mrs. Shelton is the former Robin Copeland.
* 50th anniversary *
The Rev. and Mrs. Hubert Rutherford will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, with a reception at 2 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, 4328 Old Eighth Street Road in Meridian. The reception will be hosted by their children, Ann Faulk and Bert Rutherford. They also have three grandchildren.
*60th Anniversary*
Butch and Christie VanDevender will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a reception hosted by their children. The reception will be held on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. at Pleasant Springs Church, Highway 21, one half mile east of Preston. All family and friends are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts please.
